Meet Our Therapists!!!
Aleasha is now stepping away from her massage
practice to seek other avenues in life's journey.
So please meet your next best option:
Amber Henline, BS, LMT, ABMP
Amber has been personally trained by Aleasha in Orthopedic Massage even before she even graduated from Carlson College of Massage Therapy (I might add that she also teaches part time out at Carlson)! She also has a Bachelors of Science from Colorado State University and, is a competitive bodybuilder that strives to set an example for how to use exercise, nutrition, and massage as part of a healthy lifestyle to enrich not just your body, but your mind and spirit as well. Her knowledge of how the muscles, bones, tendons, and fascia work together gives her an edge above the rest in bringing balance back throughout the body, and is her goal for every client.
Amber Henline is an excellent fit to take over your care as she's also a very well rounded person. Amber was a police officer and animal control officer for several years, but her passion for helping health-minded individuals find healing and pain free living called her into massage therapy.
Amber is going to be able to fill your need for great body work (as she will continue to be my massage therapist). Aleasha will continue to train her as she develops the deepest understandings of this work that has taken Aleasha over a decade to learn in Orthopedic Massage. Amber already has her own office within Dr. Byrnes Chiropractic called Performance Therapeutics located at 5225 North Park Place NE Cedar Rapids, IA 52402 (behind Hobby Lobby).
You can contact Amber directly to schedule your first appointment with her at 319.538.5795 (call/text). Also be sure to check out her website at www.performancetherapeutics.org
for more details on her specialties and even schedule online. I'm sure you will find this will be an easy transition for you!
On a personal note from Amber herself!
I am a native of Cedar Rapids but lived in Colorado for over 12 years. I am married to my wonderful husband Eric and have two lovely Children, Reid and Reyata. Since graduating from Carlson I have taken Continuing Education in Orthopedic Massage as well as Myofascial Release and Lymphatic Drainage. My goal is to help health-minded individuals with healing and pain management. I've always been an active person and good health and nutrition has been a priority throughout my life, and it's a passion I love sharing with others. In addition to my work, I'm a competitive bodybuilder and try to set an example for how to use exercise, nutrition and massage as part of a healthy lifestyle to enrich not just your body but your mind, and spirit. I'm currently working towards earning my Pro Card in Women's Physique in the Natural World of Bodybuilding and looking forward to becoming a professional athlete someday. I believe my knowledge of muscles and muscular development has had a huge impact on my passion for massage therapy and I'm always willing to learn new things. I look forward to meeting you and working together to enhance your health and well-being.
